CANADIAN MASTERS BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP

PARTNER REQUEST POLICY

Players looking for partners should indicate when they register if they wish to request a partner by selecting the REQUEST box in Tournament Software.

What the Host Organizing Committee needs to know for the most part is how many events you wish to enter.

For example, if you wish to play three events but have only partners for two your entry could look like this:

·         50+WD Partner: Minnie Mouse

·         50+XD Partner: Mickey Mouse

·         45+WD Request

If you wish to player four events but have only partners for one your entry could look like this:

·         40+WD Partner: Minnie Mouse

·         40+XD  Request

·         30+WD Request

·         30+ XD Request

Partner requests will be assigned during the week following the closing date of registration and will not be allocated until then.

A Host Committee will be setting up a sub-committee to process these partner requests.
The sub-committee will first ensure that those with confirmed partners are published.
The next step is to match players in the same event and age group.
If no match can be found, then unmatched players in a different age group will be considered.
Finally the sub-committee will contact players that have not entered their full quota of events to see if they will oblige.

Every effort will be made to fill all partner requests however there can be no guarantee that a partner will be found in every case.
